A group of 60 students of the Indian Institute of Planning and Management(IIPM) is all set to attend an international seminar, to be addressed jointly by panel of economists from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), in Washington, DC, on October 5.
The seminar is part of the institute’s programme entitled ‘ Global Opportunity and Threat Analysis’, and IIPM release said.
Apart from a proposed trip to the World Bank, the students may visit NYMEX-the world’ largest physical commodity futures exchange- the International Finance Corporation and US-India Business Council. -TNS
